In a cold winter night, a blizzard doing its job, a the cold wind smoothly running by her ears. Though she is inside a cave, the rustle sound of the branches nearby made her shiver. She knew if she didn’t move to a warmer, drier, and safer place. She might die. One the other side, others is also risking to try and survive in the cold……
Chapter One: A Team Appeared
Finally she decided to move, the snowstorm has slowed down. She sticks out her paw gently stepping on an unsteady piece of rock and shivering, she climbed up. Suddenly, she heard a sound. Slowly she moved her ears.
Another sound. A group of snow leopards became in view. Finally, the snow leopards spoke up, the greatest, strongest snow leopard step a step forward and opened his mouth: “Hi there, stranger still in a way we are same, I know we don’t usually come up in a group still in the hard and harsh weather we have to, would you like to going us?” He asked.
She stopped and look at him very carefully and said “ Yes, there are no other way to do this. Just a question is there a warm and safe place if I go with you?”. “Yes, why not, sorry that I didn’t introduce myself. But let’s get back to our “camp” before speaking.” He answered. “I understand, it is hard to talk in the harsh weather.” Nodding, she truthfully said. “Alright, follow me.” He said. So she squeezed inside the group of snow leopards and step by step she followed.
“Come in and welcome, let me introduce myself, my name is Blackmoon I come up with this idea of group us together is because that we need to team up and work together. The weather here have become very harsh and the rock and cave we live on and in are not as steady as before. Here I hope everyone of us could work together we will make and incredible group and might survive in this habitat we all need to survive. Do you agree?” He asked and explained. “Hooray for Blackmoon! We agree we agree we agree! “ said them all together. “Then what shall the ones with young do?” asked a female snow leopard with two cubs playing with her tail. “The females with cubs could rest in the deepest part of this cave and the female without cubs is in the middle then the old and at last the strong males. Now let all work under the cover of a good weather day let get going to make this place or cave a warm, safe place to live! Choose a hole in this cave and name it yours!” Yelled Blackmoon.
So everybody became working. She caught an eagle and ripped of all its feathers and raced to put it into a middle sized hole. When she raced back to get the eagle a fluffy but strong tail and stopped her from the eagle, it was Blackmoon “Let me ask you a few questions, first what is your name?” He gently brushed his tail on her body. “My name is Froststream. Please let me get the eagle.” She/ Froststream said. “Okay good. And thank you for answering me.” Said Blackmoon. As the time goes the sun began to set and Black moon step on the cave and let out a chuffing sound. (Fun Fact: Snow leopards can not roar like other big cats they could only make a chuffing sound when happy or a purring sound when sad or angry. )
All the snow leopard look at him about at the same time. When he sees everybody looking at him he asked: “ Have everybody finished doing their work? If not you better finish it quickly because the sky is began to darken. Lets go back to the cave and rest for tomorrow.” Each and every snow leopard nodded and went back. Froststeam struggles to get to sleep she misses her own cave though it is a little bit cold but Froststream feels safe there. At about midnight Blackmoon came and rest at her side and ask: “You haven’t sleep yet? I know moving from your home and sleep with so many “people” are a little bit uncomfortable. So I came and rest with you.” “Thank you so much.” whispered Froststream and rested.
The following day, the snow leopards woke up and Blackmoon ask some of them to hunt for food and another half to “build” a place where they put all of the food together and when they need something to eat they you get up and go to the pile and pick some food from it. Slowly the food pile began to stack up. when the pile is more than enough to feed the whole “group” Blackmoon told everybody that he is going to choose a deputy and asked if everyone agrees that he can be the group leader. And everyone said yes. As every young male snow leopard would like to be chosen as the deputy they all tried to catch the mountain eagle with is and eagle harder for snow leopard to catch then the regular eagles.
